ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Candidate must possess minimum of five (5) O’Level credits (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB) in not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
2. Be at least 16 years old as at April 2025.
3. Have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
4. Provide evidence of Change of Institution to CAI College of Nursing Sciences, Oluyoro on the JAMB portal.
5. Original Birth certificate or sworn declaration of age
DURATION OF PROGRAM
The duration of nursing program is 4years (ND/HND)
GENERAL ACADEMIC REGULATIONS
Students without minimum entry qualifications at the time of registration will be required to withdraw from the college.
Students who paid the prescribed fees per session will be allowed to register as students of the college,
A student is not regarded as a member of the college community until he/she has been duly registered and matriculated
All students must use the portal hall warden system available in each hostel to indicate when they left the college. This is a general requirement in case of emergency.
No dangerous weapons (including air guns, crossbows, catapults, dagger, and ammunition of fireworks of any description) should be brought into the college premises by students or their guest.
APPROVED SCORING AND GRADING SYSTEM
A 60 minute Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) shall be conducted in designated and accredited OSCE centers.
REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS TRANSFER, WITHDRAWAL, PROBATION AND DEFERMENT
A student may be permitted to change his or her institution under the following conditions:
The student must have completed at least two semesters in the college.
Such transfer must be approved by the Academic Board.
Any candidate with good and acceptable reasons can only apply for and be granted deferment of admission by the Academic Board of the College, provided such an applicant has fulfilled at his financial obligations to the College in full and has also matriculated.
All applications for deferment of admission should be routed through the relevant Head of Department to the Registrar.
